As a global company CIANT is currently looking for professionals
for their Calcutta R&D Center:
Qualified men and women will have 2 to 8 years relevant experience,
with superior baccalaureate degrees and post graduate degrees
and/or certifications, and an aptitude for teamwork and problem-solving
skills. Compensation will be industry competitive and can
include stock options. Positions available for immediate recruitment
are:
Java Professionals
Educational Qualification:
Graduate (preferably science Graduate) from a recognized University
with very good track record. Engineering Graduates or MCA
is desirable.
Professional Qualification:
4-8 years (Senior position) or around 2 years (Junior position)
of work experience, in Core JAVA with extensive use of SWING.
Exposure to C preferred. Knowledge of RDBMS design and execution
in Oracle and preferably any one or more of MS-SQL, Informix,
DB2 environments. Exposure to RMI, and designing and implementing
CRM solutions are desirable. The candidate must have communication
skills, strong programming skills, and excellent problem-solving
skills.

Oracle DBA/DBA In-Training
Educational Qualification:
Graduate (preferably science Graduate) from a recognized University
with very good track record. Engineering Graduates or MCA
is desirable. OCP certification is desirable but not essential.
Professional Qualification:
1½ - 2 years of working experience in Oracle. Very
strong RDBMS practical concepts, experience in installing,
upgrading and maintaining databases of different versions,
Experience in data modeling, SQL coding, stored procedures,
monitoring database performance, space, other database parameters,
backup/restore. Knowledge of any one or more of MS-SQL, Informix,
DB2 environments is desirable. Exposure to Unix is desirable.
May be DBA “in training” with interest in Product
Testing.

C/C++ Programmer
Educational Qualification:
Graduate from recognized University with good academic track
record. Engineering Graduate or MCA from renowned College/University
will get preference.
Professional Qualification:
At least 2 years of programming experience in C/C++ environment
on real time project. Should be conversant with multithread
programming in C. Interfacing with Large database is strongly
required. Programming knowledge in OCI environment will be
preferred. Programming experience with Java will be an added
advantage. Working experience on Unix environment desired.

Operations Analyst
Educational Qualification:
Graduate (in any discipline) from a recognized University.
Math/Statistics degree is preferable.
Professional Qualification:
At least one year of work experience in any industry is required.
Experience in software Testing is desirable. Prior experience
in dealing with customers/clients is a plus. The applicant
should have excellent problem-solving skills with an interest
to learn IT activities and data related work.
