During calendar year 2002 the DataGYM Team has executed a number of major initiatives.
The world-class quality and versatility of DataGYM was established in multiple benchmarking tests working closely since 2001 with American Express IIM-Platforms team in Phoenix, AZ.
CIANT’s Implementation and Operations Teams next implemented a stable, production platform for American Express prospect database (PBD) for Brazil market and executed 3 campaign mail extract cycles. Prospect database audits have revealed historically low error rates compared to any Brazil market benchmark, well under the established guideline of 1 percent acceptance level error rate.
Using same version release 5.1.0 of DataGYM it was established that this high quality data management software tool could execute prospect database work in a new Mexico market in rapid time with no programmatic changes, executing similar business rules with minimum table and setting changes.
During the same time the DataGYM Team set for itself a goal how to make quantum improvements in the Performance of software executing very large databases and stable production environments.
CIANT’s R&D Team decided to re-architect and execute the three-tier client server solution bottom’s up. Fundamental re-design of most major functions were targeted, and many new cutting edge technologies have been deployed in this software release version. With beta tests currently in progress, market launch of DataGYM version 6.0 is scheduled for 2Q2003. We are pleased to announce the performance numbers.
To make sure that the data was subject to realistic testing conditions, input data was cleaned, floating data was handled, name and address data were parsed, all possible data elements validated and standardized, and finally records with invalid data were rejected. The resulting data was compared within itself and three levels of relationships were established all in one processing pass based on realistic business rules.
